In recognition of his humanitarian efforts, outstanding contributions to societal development and unwavering commitment to uplifting the Yoruba people at home and in the diaspora, Dr Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” has been appointed as the Life Patron of the Afenifere Yoruba Youth Assembly (OYYA).
The investiture covered by the LinkAfrica News, was led by the President of AYYA, Comrade Lekan Owolabi, who also serves as a Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen. In his remarks, Owolabi praised Dr. Adu’s long-standing record of service, describing him as a man of integrity, vision, and genuine compassion for humanity.
According to the group, Dr. Adu has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to empowering youths, supporting community initiatives, and promoting unity across various social and political spheres. Many beneficiaries have testified to his generosity, leadership qualities, and readiness to support those in need. AYYA believes that his antecedents clearly justify the honour conferred upon him.
In addition to his appointment as Life Patron, the Afenifere Yoruba Youth Assembly also formally endorsed Dr. Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu for the 2027 Senate race. The group expressed strong confidence in his ability to deliver quality representation and bring meaningful development to the people. They described him as capable, competent, and adequately prepared to liberate the people from long-standing challenges and open new doors of progress.
The Assembly emphasized that Dr. Adu’s reconciliation efforts, community interventions, and philanthropic activities stand as solid evidence of his dedication to the greater good. His track record continues to inspire many, earning him respect across political,religious and social divides.
AYYA congratulated Dr. Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu on his new role and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting visionary leaders who prioritize the advancement of the Yoruba nation and Nigeria as a whole.
Dr Adu who was elated by this recognition, appreciated the vibrant population of young men and women who value quality and are interested in the advancement of the Yoruba race.
This is an additional feather to the beautiful cap of the Ondo State APC Chieftain who holds the titles of Aare Omoluwabi Oodua Agbaye, Atunluse of Iju- Alaafia and Asiwaju of Igele Land among the plethora of his awards.
