Dr. Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana”, the renowned Philanthropist and Ondo Central’s Senatorial choice joined All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders and members to receive His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in Akure South yesterday signalling the end of the statewide thank -you tours.
The rousing reception took place yesterday at NEPA Car Park, Akure where the Governor came to appreciate the support of the good people of Akure South for his administration.
In his statement, Dr. Adu commended the Governor for this initiative, which he believes, will deepen residents’ sense of belonging and trust in the government. He noted that visible, hands-on leadership—evidenced by high-level visits across all local government areas strengthens social cohesion, fosters inclusive development, and signals the administration’s commitment to addressing the diverse needs of Ondo State’s communities.
He stated that: “His Excellency’s tour of the third tier of government in Ondo State is more than ceremonial; it is a practical demonstration of governance in action. By meeting with community leaders, market associations, youth groups, and civil society organizations, the Governor will be able to prioritize projects that reflect the lived realities of Ondo people.”
Dr Adu, who has consistently displayed his unflinching support for the leadership styles and impactful government of Dr Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, emphasizes that continuous engagements from the government cultivates transparency, accountability, and participatory governance, which are essential for sustainable progress.
As a trusted voice within Ondo State politics, Dr Adu applauded the quality of projects going on across the state and urged the residents to contribute to the state’s ‘OUR EASE’ developmental agenda.
