Veteran broadcaster, King Akin Adenuga, popularly known as King Elshaddai celebrated three decades of impactful broadcasting, marking the milestone with a colourful event on Saturday, January 7, 2026 in Akure, Ondo State.
The well-attended ceremony drew dignitaries from the media industry, political affiliations, traditional institutions, religious circles, and the business community, all of whom paid glowing tributes to the celebrant’s contributions to broadcasting and community development.
In his tribute, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” who was awarded for his enormous contributions to the media and humanity specifically celebrated King Adenuga for his industry and selflessness, describing him as a complete gentleman whose commitment to humanity and professionalism remains exemplary.
The highlights of the event included the official cutting of the anniversary cake, the launch of a ₦10 million digital studio and awards presentation to notable Nigerians who have impacted the society positively in their different spheres.
At the event, Dr Adu Cubana donated N3 million Naira during the calls for support towards the proposed digital studio project, aimed at enhancing modern broadcasting standards and empowering upcoming media professionals.
