Dr (Barr.) Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” has sent his warmest congratulations to Hon. Kolawole Babatunde and 35 other Executive members of Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC) on their inauguration.
The colourful event which took place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at the International Cultural and Event Centre (The Dome), Akure attracted government functionaries, party faithful, INEC Officials, the Press, well-wishers and the APC National Officials that oversaw the conduct of the congress and the swearing- in ceremony of the new Ondo State elected executive officers.
In his statement through his media outlet, Dr Adu expressed his heartfelt joy for the peaceful resolution of what he referred to as “family disputes”, lauding the matured handling of the crises by the leadership of the Party.
He further stated that “Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s large heartedness to accommodate various interests, emplacing broader concerns of all the stakeholders above the narrow designs of the privileged few for the sake of peace and harmony should also be applauded.”
Exposing his legal knowledge and peaceful dispositions, Dr Adu who is aspiring for the Ondo Central Senatorial seat, advised the aggrieved persons to always exploit the internal mechanisms of the party for crisis resolution, and if need be, the instrumentality of the extant laws to seek redress rather than engaging in brigandage and incitement of violence as solutions to political differences.
The renowned philanthropist admired the new state APC Chairman for his experience, sagacity, vitality and leadership attributes with impressive records as a former public office holder, urging him to be magnanimous in victory and to utilise his good offices to unite all members as we prepare for general elections.
“All hands must be on decks to coast home victories from all fronts for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates of the party.
“We must work in unity to deliver higher votes for our party in 2027, far ahead of what was delivered in 2023, now that the ruling party in Ondo state has no formidable opposition.” Dr Adu opined.
While congratulating all the members on this recognition, Dr Adu wished them impactful and successful tenure as they would be discharging their official assignments under the guidance of God.
Dr Adu, therefore,
encouraged the party members to cooperate with the chosen ones and continue to support the Ondo State Government in its relentless drive for development and safety of the citizenry.
Reacting to the impacts of the amended electoral act on Democracy, Dr Adu admitted that the new electoral act will provide level playing grounds for all the aspirants to display their clout and competence within the political parties and to affirm their acceptability among the electorate at the polls.
