The senatorial aspiration of Dr Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” received a boost from Hausa Community under the leadership of Alhaji Sheu Ibrahim, Sarki Hausa of Shasha in Akure North.
The secretary of the association, Alhaji Amin Jubirin described the respected aspirant as a caring leader who is well- loved by the Hausa Community.
Testifying to Adu’s generosity, Alhaji Jubirin rolled out scores of his philanthropic acts throughout the state while appreciating his assistance for the Moslem community in Ondo State, particularly over the recent 10 million naira donation for the construction of the new Mosque at Sabo in Araromi street, Akure.
As the Ondo Central awaits defining moment, Dr Adu’s campaign continues to gather momentum ahead of APC primaries.
So far, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu has taken his campaign train to Idanre, Akure North and Akure South Local government areas to seek support of leaders and card carrying members of All Progressives Congress (APC) while preparations are in to gear to visit the remaining local government areas before the conduct of the senatorial primary on Monday, May 18, 2026.
This brave and bold steps had triggered massive excitement and jubilation among his supporters and party loyalists.
Ever before the commencement of the ongoing contest, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” has been a signature of good deeds, competencies and readiness to provide impactful services across political circles, grassroots structures, youth groups, and community gatherings within Ondo State.
The massive support for Dr. Adu’s ambition is based on people’s strong conviction about his capacity to provide visible grassroots engagement, youth-driven policies, and sustainable empowerment initiatives across the senatorial District.
Across several communities, Dr Adu is seen as a loyal, merit-based and winnable candidate anytime, any day.
Many of the speakers including party leaders at each visitation admired Dr Adu’s bravery, competent manifesto and his political involvement which have further strengthened democratic participation within the APC structure, especially at a time when internal democracy is being subjected to new electoral tests ahead of 2027 general elections.
In his messages to the party faithful at different fora, Dr Adu expressed gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, women groups, youths, and the people of Ondo Central for their firm belief in his vision that will usher in many desired changes within his first six months in office if given the opportunity to serve.
He also promised to provide sustainable empowerment initiatives and drive community development policies that will signal vibrant representation.
He confidently affirmed to explore his various contacts both at home and abroad, among top military echelon, oil industries, notable traditional institution and high- tech companies to acquire better dividends of democracy to the residents of the state.
Dr Adu’s blueprint is applaudable with clear selfless mission to render services that will change lives and enhance productivity of the residents of Ondo central Senatorial district.
Dr Adu Spoke about his call to service through divine instructions as his entry into politics is a rescue operation on behalf of political and apolitical families.
But beyond the official statement, the streets are already telling their own story; Adu Cubana continues to dominate the political discussions and permutations as a preferred choice of the electorate.
