A socio- cultural Association, House Of Friends International, Akure held its annual get- together party on Sunday, January 25, 2026 in Akure amid gratitude, prayers and jollification.
Comrade Abiodun Olukayode Ojo, the Chairman of the august body comprising well- meaning Nigerians, described the gathering as a fantastic opportunity for the members to connect, unwind and celebrate.
While acknowledging the contributions, commitments and support of the old members, Comrade Ojo welcomed the new members, soliciting their cooperation and fresh ideas that will catalyse the progress of the association.
Reacting to the kind gestures of their Patron, Comrade Ojo expressed his profound appreciation to Dr Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu (Cubana) for his solid support for members.
“His financial assistance and patronage have benefitted our members, improving their welfare conditions and assisting our revolving loan initiative,” Comrade Ojo concurred.
Members took turns to appreciate the executive members of the association, lauding their leadership styles which have taken the Association to an enviable position in the society, and the Organising committee members for their prowess and prudence which were largely responsible for the excellent delivery of their mandates.
Aside wining and dining, the camaraderie and unity manifested amongst members would unarguably elevate the Association to another higher level as leaders have mapped out strategies that will enhance the profiles of individual member in this ongoing year.
