Muslim community has extended heartfelt gratitude to Dr Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” for his benevolence towards the acquisition of a Mosque within Sabo- Odo- Ijoka area in Akure for Islamic worshippers.
The Ondo Central Hausa Coordinator, Hamisu Mohammed, who led the delegation on a thank- you-visit expressed surprise at the prompt response of Dr Olumuyiwa Adu ”Cubana” to their request after all efforts to seek relief from other notable politicians and private individuals yielded poor results.
He said,” Sir, your financial support of 10 million naira has given us the opportunity to purchase the building from the owner after many years of our tenancy.
The building will now serve as our Mosque to worship Almighty Allah.
The Chief Imam of the mosque, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was extremely happy at the unprecedented generosity, describing it as a miracle from God.
He also applauded Dr Adu’s commitment to transform the acquired building to a befitting place of worship.
While replying the community representatives after their visible expression of profound appreciation, Dr Adu re-echoed his commitment to uplifting lives and improving societal conditions without any political attachment.
He submitted that all glory should be given to God for making him a source of blessings to others.
It’s heartwarming that Dr Olumuyiwa Adu ”Cubana” has instituted a master plan that will contribute meaningfully to the lives of the people through spiritual rejuvenation, economic empowerment, education interventions, social interactions and community development
“Whatever you have should be used to glorify God and serve humanity. God has a reward system that will repay our actions and inactions even before the day of judgement, “he sermonised.
The visiting team prayed fervently for unstoppable success, peace of mind and great health for the renowned Philanthropist.
