The Ondo Central Senatorial Hopeful, Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” has expressed his love, respect and felicitations to a political Icon and Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom, Chief (Hon.) Ifedayo Sunday Abegunde who is fondly called “Abena” on his 71st Birthday.
The celebrant, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde is the Executive Director, Corporate Services, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), a former Secretary to the Ondo State Government and two- term House of Representatives’ member representing Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency.
In his congratulatory statement personally made available to the Press, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu said:
” We are celebrating a joyous milestone of a great Leader who is my brother and mentor.
” Achieving this age under the abundant grace of God is worth celebrating. I appreciate this gift of life and God’s faithfulness in Oga Abena’s life.”
Dr Adu described Hon. Abegunde as a strong pillar whose immense contributions to humanity, community development as well as advancement of democracy are applaudable.
Dr Adu further extolled his candour, bravery, generosity, forthrightness, perseverance and tenacity at 71.
“Sir, on behalf of my family and my associates, I congratulate you and wish you many more glorious heights and promotions in your untiring endeavours to build the nation and other progressive legacies” Dr Adu submitted.
” As you are climbing the ladder of success and leadership, you shall not fall. The good Lord will preserve you and decorate you with many honours.
“The merciful God who has brought you this far will not leave you. You shall live long and enjoy a healthier living.” Dr Adu fervently prayed.
