The long awaited good news has been unveiled. The man of the people, Dr. Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana ” has accepted the challenge to run for the Senatorial seat following a growing, passionate appeal from the patriotic citizens of Ondo Central Senatorial District.

This decision has put paid to months of speculations and has consented to the divine injunctions for him to go on a rescue mission on behalf of the downtrodden.
His official declaration will showcase his grassroots appeal and political clout; His victory will usher in a new era because of his clear vision for development.

Before declaring officially, He has begun consultations with leaders across the District comprising 65 wards to sell his people-centric manifesto that will recalibrate representation, which is at present shrouded in secrecy and arrogance.
Dr Adu represents an emblem that will deliver quality and sustainable democratic dividends if elected.
His ambition is not driven by personal interest to acquire titles and wealth, but by sincere commitment to contribute his talents, energy and time to effect change, leaving behind a legacy that will touch lives across every community in the District.
Dr. Adu’s track records are enviable. For years, he has quietly empowered families, supported education through scholarships, financed small businesses, cared for widows, and offered financial relief to those in desperate need. The long list of his philanthropic gestures within and outside the political ecosystem have never sought the spotlight, yet they continue to shine, illuminating hope in places long forgotten by the system.

Dr Adu is an encyclopaedia of knowledge and wisdom, commanding respect, honour and popularity as a symbol of compassion, integrity, and action.
His sobriquet has become a household slang. CU CU CU…CUBANA is on the lips of both the young and old as the one who can carry the heavy yoke of Leadership with requisite power, resources and passion that will truly protect their interests at the national stage.

What makes this grassroots support unique is that it is completely organic.
His acceptance of the political contest is being applauded as the momentum keeps gathering gargantuan strength. Why? Because the people are happy with him. They remember a man who never turns them away. A man who gives without seeking praises. A man whose life testifies to quiet excellence, integrity and sincerity.
He is a man of purpose and a pillar of truth and trust whose political aspiration has received tremendous support from the political and apolitical classes. Their firm opinion is that Dr Adu deserves the job because of his competence and he won’t disappoint people’s confidence and/or embarrass his promoters with sluggish performance.
In an era where many seek power before service, Dr. Adu represents the opposite, service before power. His professional background as a legal practitioner gives him the intellectual foundation, his military background gives him the discipline and stamina to navigate difficult terrains with strategies while his humanitarian legacy stands him out as a compassionate politician with genuine zeal to serve. His calm demeanor, depth of wisdom and his array of achievements among other pleasant leadership demonstrations have made him a mentor to many and a hope to the underrepresented.

The call for him to run for Senate is a reflection of collective trust. The people are not calling for ‘as usual’ politician they are calling for a leader. They are calling for a man who has already earned their respect, who has already invested in their lives, and whom they believe will protect their interests in Abuja with truth, competence, and courage.
Having heeded the call to contest, one thing is already clear: Dr. Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu is a movement borne out of love, trust, and shared vision. He represents the future that the people of Ondo Central are yearning for where representation is not about rhetorics but practical results.
As we continue to celebrate his achievements and promote his selfless aspiration, we do so not just as admirers, but as citizens driven by desire. We are hopeful that when the time comes to choose by preference, the majority will stand with him as he has always stood for them.
Dr Adu has walked the progressive path with the people, he has lifted others without asking for reward, and has given voice to the voiceless. Dr. Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu is the kind ‘servant’ that Ondo Central needs now more than ever.
The feedbacks are encouraging him to push forward.
“I won’t shortchange the rights of the commoners. I will provide strong voice that will protect our Communities from pathetic neglect and despondency.
“My interventions will be massive and sustainable.” Dr Adu assures the decision makers as party primaries move closer to the D- day.
