DR OLUMUYIWA ADU “CUBANA” PARTNERS A GERMAN- BASED AKURE GROUP TO FOSTER COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Recently, Comrade Micheal Abiodun Oni, a social crusader paid a courtesy visit to Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” in Akure

The meeting highlighted strategic partnerships on community development and political collaboration.

Comrade Oni is the Spokesperson of Akure Progressives Global Initiative- a socio- cultural association that is based in Germany.

While speaking on the momentous popularity of Dr Adu, the team appreciated his outstanding philanthropic gestures, and visionary leadership.

“Your activities in the past six years have added colour to leadership and changed the narratives of Akure Kingdom in Ondo State”

“At home and abroad, far beyond our ancestral shores, we have heard your voice and what you stand for. We are very proud of your achievements and we will stand with you”.

“In the last few days after my arrival, I have seen practical demonstrations of your generosity. I was at Iro, your family compound during the celebration of Ogun festival. I marvelled at how you singlehandedly turned that old, dilapidated building to the modern architectural masterpiece.

“You didn’t stop at that, you equipped the buildings with modern fittings and furniture and donated them to your family members for their personal use and comfort. This is unprecedented in our history”, Comrade Oni recounted.

“Sir, May God grant you bigger wherewithal to meet the overwhelming requests and other community challenges”

Comrade Oni further admonished the critical stakeholders within and outside the kingdom to work together in unity and to engage in continuous sensitization of the residents on the imperative of strategic alignments in order to achieve Akure’s age -long political desire.

He used the opportunity to inform Dr Adu about the forthcoming event that will take place in Germany which will attract Akure sons and daughters that are residing in all European nations.

“Sir, our Association would be happy to receive your esteemed presence and support for the historic occasion “, Comrade Oni submitted.

In his response, Dr Adu illuminated the discussions with stories of his early life struggles, his tedious journey to success, his spiritual encounter that led to his present political actions and his desire to contribute his quota to human and societal development.

“I am not desperate about political positions and titles but I am willing to provide representation that will bring remarkable progress and prosperity for the sake of humanity,” Dr Adu reiterated.

“Concerning your invitation, I feel honoured to be considered. I will schedule my itinerary to attend the event and I am ready to offer your group all forms of assistance that will promote the cultural identity of Akure speaking communities anywhere in the world,” Dr Adu promised.

Also in attendance were Mr Abiodun Lanre, the Board Of Trustees member of the Associations and Apostle Kehinde Omoniyi, Ph.D who facilitated the august interaction.
