Amidst the controversies that surround the release of the candidates for the National Assembly elections, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” has sent greetings to the good people of Ondo State while calling for decorum among leaders and followers of All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to his Press release, Dr Adu stated that:
“July begins the commencement of another half of the year 2027 and as the 7th month, it bears spiritual significance of abundance and harvest.

“The 7th month holds deep spiritual and symbolic meaning. Traditionally and scripturally, the number 7 represents divine perfection and completion because God rested on the seventh day of creation- The seventh month is widely viewed as a season of rest, refreshing, and restoration.”

“May the good Lord bless your efforts and put an end to all your unproductive struggles.
The Lord will put your feet on the path to freedom and prosperity,” Dr Adu prayed.

“The present tactics should be checkmated before it leads to breakdown of law and order which can lead to intense internal distrust within the party.

“So far, some autocratic decisions of those in power have eroded the party unity and may jeopardize the electoral fortune of the party as we prepare for the 2027 general elections.

“The choice of unpopular candidates could as well trigger resentment among electorate against the ruling party, giving undue advantages to the opposition parties,” he alluded.

Dr Olumuyiwa Adu attributed the current hullabaloo to the reluctance of the political players to abide by the principles of fairness, transparency and justice which genuine democracy entails.

It can be recalled that Dr Adu had earlier employed peaceful way to register his legitimate grievances about the abnormalities that characterised the last primary election exercise where his large followers were disenfranchised.

Dr Adu, therefore, cautioned the party leaders against actions and utterances that are capable of hampering our collective resolve to support the ongoing Renewed Hope Initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
