The State Convener of “ADU LOKAN” political movement, Alhaji Prince Ali Saka, the Oluomo of Isolo has described Dr Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” as the most prepared and popular senatorial hopeful of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo Central Senatorial District.
He made this assertion during the extraordinary meeting of the executive members of the group today in Akure.
In his welcome address, Alhaji Saka reaffirmed their unflinching loyalty to the Akure- born APC chieftain and opined that presentation of Adu Olumuyiwa as the chosen APC Ondo Central Senatorial candidate will boost the low morale of the party members, political sympathisers and voters.
“Dr Adu is known and respected by the large number of the constituents who are in love with him because of his brilliance, sterling achievements, superlative kindness and commitment to development,” he added.
The movement comprises politically conscious youths across the State who are promoting Dr Olumuyiwa Adu’s interests within the political ecosystem.
While awaiting the official declarations of the primary elections results nationwide, the Convener holds a firm belief that the choices of the masses should eventually prevail in the face of irregularities that characterised the last primary elections in Ondo State.
The group advised political leaders to always imbibe the tenets of democracy and stop prebendal apportioning of positions to cronies at the detriment of the established principles of transparency and inclusive participation.
While congratulating the All Progressives Congress (APC) on its recent victories in the off-cycle elections across the country, the movement charged the party’s stakeholders at the top to thoroughly and thoughtfully examine many realities on ground before making official declarations that can mar the outcomes of general elections in 2027.
“When fairness and justice are embedded in the awaiting judgements, there will be little stress during reconciliation,” he reasoned.
The group also reiterated its unflinching support for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, citing his economic reforms among other renewed hope initiatives that have positioned Nigeria on the path of prosperity.
The exco members, therefore, concluded to start its bi-weekly meetings next month to continue its grassroots mobilisation for Dr Olumuyiwa Adu.
