The APC Chieftain in Ondo State, Barr.(Dr) Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” has lauded the rousing reception organized by the party to welcome the Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa from Abuja following his judicial victory at the Supreme Court after the withdrawal of the petition by his major challenger, Hon. Agboola Ajayi who was the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party.
Dr Adu aired this view among others during his interview after today’s thanksgiving service at the Government House Chapel of Grace.
Dr Adu expressed profound gratitude to God for granting the request of the good people of Ondo state by the reaffirmation of the electoral victory of Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa by the Supreme Court last Wednesday.
“We are here with Mr Governor to thank God who worked through the minds of men to show His eminence.
“Many litigations were instituted by the aggrieved co-contestants to challenge the validity of Gov Aiyedatiwa’s mandate after the November 16, 2025 governorship election but the light of victory shone at the end of the dark tunnel”, Dr Adu stated.
Dr Adu had earlier joined the party faithful on friday at Akure Airport to welcome Mr Governor from Abuja and later moved with the entourage to the popular MKO Abiola Democracy Park Akure for speeches and jubilation.
To him, the reactions of the residents to the judgement is an endorsement of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s popular policies.
“I have never hidden my support for the various ongoing infrastructural projects under the incumbent administration.I can assure you that Gov. Aiyedatiwa will redouble his efforts to drive OUR EASE agenda with speed now that all legal battles have been won”, Dr Adu submitted.
