As the christian faithful commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, marking His victory over death and fulfillment of biblical prophesies, the APC Senatorial Aspirant, Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” enjoins believers to spiritually reconnect with God
According to him: “The sacrifice paid by our Lord Jesus for the sins of humanity offers hope, salvation and the promise of eternal life, symbolizing spiritual rebirth of believers.
“The resurrection of Jesus Christ validates Jesus as the son of God, marks his victory over death and sin, and offers promise of salvation, redemption and eternal life.”
Dr Adu admonishes Christians to imbibe the virtues of Easter which encapsulates sacrifice, love, courage, faith and righteousness.
Harping on this season’s spiritual newness to offer prayers for our leaders and our beloved country, Dr Adu says: “May God halt the evil activities that are threatening the peace and corporate existence of Nigeria, and enlarge the will and wisdom of our leaders to grant us peace and prosperity.
“May this Easter open new chapter of love and strength, and renew our faith”
