OLUMUYIWA ADU “CUBANA” COMMEMORATES GOOD FRIDAY WITH CHRISTIANS, URGES LEADERS TO MAKE IMPACTS

“Today is observed as part of the Paschal Triduum. It shows the suffering of Jesus for humanity, underscoring God’s ultimate act of love and grace, as it opens way to heavenly kingdom.

“On this commemoration of the crucification of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary (Golgotha), I admonish christian faithful to be Christ-like in rendering sacrifice and sharing love among all people.”

The Ondo Central Senatorial Hopeful of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu “Cubana” extended these heartfelt greetings to all Christians in Ondo State, particularly in Ondo Central Senatorial District via his Media Council.

Dr Adu stated further that: “As we commemorate this solemn event, we should be inspired by the virtues of sacrifice, forgiveness, and compassion as demonstrated by our Lord, Jesus Christ.

“Let us embrace righteousness, unity and selflessness in our daily lives, and work harmoniously together for the growth and development of our communities and our great Nation.

“Today, despite its sorrowful Biblical accounts, brings hope of salvation, redemption and victory over sin and death.”

Dr Adu, urged leaders holding positions of trust to always strive hard to make impacts that align with the lessons of good Friday as he charged Christians to embrace peace, unity, tolerance to make the world a better place for all.

“As we reflect on this spiritual and significant memory, may God heal our wounds, restore our hope, strengthen our faith and live in our hearts,” Dr Adu prayed.
